‘Then God bless Noah and his sons, saying to them, ‘be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.’

All things creation were subjected to the authority of Adam of Eve but as disappointing as it was to the Creator, Adam and Eve could not guard their authority from the invasion of the serpent. They lost their authority, they lost the confidence bestowed  upon them by God, and they lost what could have been an everlasting and an undiluted authority.
How do we protect the confidence that people get in us? How vigilant are we for the deceptions of the world? How well do we go according to the commands of God?

It was yet another new face of earth. Flooding had swept almost all creations away leaving they that deserved to live. A command to the first creations, Adam and Eve,  ‘God bless them and said to them be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creation that moves on the ground’ was repeated to the after flooding survivors.
The multiplication and increase of mankind is a keen thing on the heart of God.

Adam and Eve did the unpardonable, they ate the forbidden fruit. Ham had done an unpardonable. He saw his father’s nakedness and just as Adam and Eve receive a punishment for doing the unpardonable, Ham also had his, ‘when Noah awoke from his wine, he knew what his youngest son had done to him. So he said, “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.
There exist a punishment for every evil we commit against God and our fellow mankind.
‘But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.’  Jesus Christ said (Matthew 5:28)

How can we protect ourselves from looking wrongly to avoid the wrath of God?
In an evil and adulterous generation where we are bombarded with nudity at every glance we take, we must be vigilant. ‘ I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.‘ Psalm 119: 11

The apostle Paul said  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’

”I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman.”                       Job 31:1
