True living… simplicity

BIBLE 4

MATTHEW   7 IN FOCUS

THINK ABOUT IT:

What influences your choice?

What troubles you most?

How do you deal with others?

Who are you?

We are living in a cumbersome world full of temptations. We are living in a world filled with deception. We are living in a world filled with expectations. We are living in a world filled with judges. How safe are we in this world?

It may be a paradox to ask a mentally challenged person to live in a well-furnished mansion and still expects everything to be intact. It is our solemn responsibility to give but we must be aware of what we are giving and whom we are giving to.

Why thou suffer from needs when ye have a provider? Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door would be opened.

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

We ought to know the God we serve. We ought to note that he is the lord our provider.

How would you feel to see your son meeting you to hug you in his dirty cloth against you neat garment?

We have to pursue holiness. We ought to assess ourselves. How can a sick man offer an antidote to someone we is sick of the same illness when he has not heal himself? For all things look too yourself first as the saying goes. Who made as judges over others who sin in the same way as we do?

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Paul said to the Romans :”Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this– not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s way. Philippians 14:13

PONDER       “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
