Service… You may never know

BIBLE 4

GENESIS 18   IN FOCUS

‘then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.’

How do you interact with people you do not know?

What do you give to people?

How do you make friends?

It is a puzzle to see how some people frown to strangers. You may never know! Yes, you may never know who the stranger is. You may never know where you may meet the person you just met and you could not build a good rapport.

We attract people to ourselves or create a gap between people and ourselves by our words and deeds. The book of Proverbs  says ”A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”  — Proverbs 15:1

The humility, service and kindness Abraham portrayed opened the real gate of what he had been promised for him, a son.  A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. — Proverbs 18:16

It is noteworthy to note how just a smile can open a door of opportunity for people.

You may never know the very moment when a little act of kindness can trigger greatness to you. Be diligent in doing good at each moment.

And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good. … 2 Thessalonians 3:13
