a distinctive footprint

prayer 2

GENESIS    25     IN     FOCUS

Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac.

THINK     ABOUT     IT

how have you live life so far?

what footprints are you leaving behind?

what will you hand over to your next generation?

how distinctive is the legacy you are leaving behind?

what reputation have you build?

What will your children not like about you tomorrow?

If tomorrow doesn’t come, what shall be the summary of our lives today?

World wars left nothing but countries in disarray, rendered people homeless and children orphans.

Abraham Lincoln is long gone but, his descendants still enjoy his reputation.

Great countries are great today because of the great efforts, toil and endurance of the great men who left great footprints as exemplary example for their next generation to emulate and do better.

Abraham endured all the trials. He passed through the most nerve cutting moments and still respected his purpose. He left a great legacy for his son, Isaac. He left a noble  benchmark for Isaac.

We are pursuing the journey of life today but with what vision, What shall be said of us? What are we handing over to our children? How are we enduring today for a great legacy tomorrow?

Madiba Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison for a worthy cause and now, his descendants are enjoying the benefits of his toil.

What are we doing today? what shall be the fruits of the seeds we are sowing today?

‘Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac.’  What are you leaving for your ward? good or bad?

As you prepare to end 2015, may it be a footprint that you resolve to live and leave a distinctive footprint on earth.

no matter what, remember, you must live and leave a pious and a distinctive legacy

PONDER:   may our footsteps today be  distinctive footprints tomorrow
