EXODUS 7 IN FOCUS
11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.
Guard your heart that you are not deceived by the alluring ways of the world! Be vigilant for the world can present what seems like the original to you! Hold on firmly to your faith when you meet the storms of life so that you shall receive a crown of glory in the end! We are weak in a wild world! We can be a prey to a world full of deception and treacherous ways but it is written ”You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world”. Oh how refreshing it is to note that our Father is a conqueror! Oh how great it is to watch your Father overcome great oppositions! Oh how awesome it is to realize that your Father has a supreme power! Oh how wonderful it is to be aware of the fact that your Father has given you surpassing power to conquer all things!
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What is oppressing you? Who is oppressing you? You have the power to conquer them all with your great trust in God and an utmost faith! Your strength can do the fighting but hold on and see what God can do. Leave the battle of life to Him. Who is stopping you from becoming happy? Who wants to rob the peace Jesus has given to you? Leave such a person to God ‘ ‘Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.”
He is capable of showing them His mighty power, only trust and obey! ”20 Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood. 21 The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt. 22 But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts, and Pharaoh’s heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said. 23 Instead, he turned and went into his palace, and did not take even this to heart. 24 And all the Egyptians dug along the Nile to get drinking water, because they could not drink the water of the river.’
Jesus said, 16 “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.” Be wise! oh yes be vigilant! Be extra careful following after signs and wonders for the world can perform a counterfeit of God’s Supreme power! Know who you are and live as who you are!
Jesus Christ cautioned us, ”for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect. “But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.” Apostle Paul added ”For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.’ 2 Corinthians 11
2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. —-2 Corinthians 11

I sing the mighty power of God, that made the mountains rise,
[or I sing th’almighty power of God…]
That spread the flowing seas abroad, and built the lofty skies.
I sing the wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at God’s command, and all the stars obey.
I sing the goodness of the Lord, who filled the earth with food,
Who formed the creatures through the Word, and then pronounced them good.
Lord, how Thy wonders are displayed, where’er I turn my eye,
If I survey the ground I tread, or gaze upon the sky.
There’s not a plant or flower below, but makes Thy glories known,
And clouds arise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy throne;
While all that borrows life from Thee is ever in Thy care;
And everywhere that we can be, Thou, God art present there.
