The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting. He said, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When anyone among you brings an offering to the Lord, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.

God demands our offering! God needs our full strength! God demands our utmost deft! God needs our best! Yes nothing,  but our best! God said, 10 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, you are to offer a male without defect. An offering without defect! An offering from our hearts! God wanted a burnt offering from the Israelites,  today He demands something without defect, our hearts, our minds and our whole body and strength for His service. It is written, ‘But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.’

True worshippers! Oh yes, true worshippers! People who understand what true and absolute  obedience and sacrifice means to God! People who understand what it takes to take up their cross and follow the Lord Jesus Christ! People who are ready to sacrifice their all as pleasing sacrifice to God Almighty! True worshippers!!! The offering of our lives and life time must be  ‘an aroma pleasing to the Lord ‘

It is always not all that easy to give our best to God, but we can give our best to God if only we obey Him.

15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” 16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” 17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.

It has been done before. They sacrificed their lives in totality to the will of God! Abraham, Daniel, Shadrack,  Meshak and Abednago, the desciples of Jesus Christ … and many pilgrims of life who gave their whole lives for Christ! We must offer something to God in our days! We must offer our lives to God! Apostle Paul admonished the romans saying, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”  They sacrificed something in their days and we must sacrifice something in our days; our whole life to God for His service!!! What shall you offer to God and what are you offering to God?
